The all-new Futura range completes its offer with an exclusive fork, designed for the rider, starting from bike geometry and biomechanics requirements and needs. In fact, the Futura Caliper is the only oversized 1-1/2” tapered fork with multiple-rake: 45 and 50mm options that allow the cyclist, and even before him, the framebuilder, to properly complete their bicycles with the proper geometry and solutions, according to body requirements, sizes and riding style. Realized using ultra-light aerospace carbon fiber, Futura Caliper offers an extremely sharp riding experience thanks to its oversized sections and shapes, designed for an overall weight reduction of the structure, enhancing its stiffness and precision while cornering. A new chapter in Columbus history! For the first time, to celebrate our Centennial, we wanted to give an exceptional travel companion. Whether it’s dirt roads, trails, or ultra-marathons, Futura Adventure is the answer for the most ambitious explorers. With MTB DNA, this fork can be equipped both on the most advanced tailor-made titanium, aluminum, or steel travel frames, as well as on frames with hard-tail MTB geometries. The innovations are remarkable: a Multi-Rake system, internal dynamo cable guides, bike-packing eyelets, and a 15mm Boost thru-axle. The remarkable load capacity takes further advantage of the adaptable rake, allowing you to finely balance reactivity and handling based on terrain and luggage. The 110mm spacing ensures maximum compatibility with MTB groups and wheels and increases stability in action. Furthermore, the predisposition for dynamo hubs guarantees the most extreme adventurers the possibility to recharge their devices at any time during the journey, without ever stopping to search for a power source. The family grows and together with the Disc and Gravel models, the Futura Cross model completes the range of disc brake solutions for off-road enthusiasts whether it be pure cyclocross, b-roads, or off-road adventures. The famous lines of the Futura fork are widened and lengthened on the Futura Cross fork to allow riders to mount larger, more tasseled tires. The Futura Cross fork can mount up to 47mm tires on 700c wheels, but more interesting is the option of mounting 27.5” wheels with a 2.1” tire; a standard tire choice that is becoming the choice of more and more gravel and monster-cross riders. Following industry standards, the fork is designed for 12mm thru-axles and flat-mount disc brakes to ensure compatibility with the majority of modern road and cyclocross disc-brake groupsets. Further increasing the range of steerer options within the Futura line, the 1.5” oversized steerer is synonymous with stability and durability, desirable traits on uneven or slippery terrain. The external cable guides are designed to make it as easy as possible to mount and maintain the fork and braking system, facilitating the cleaning and care of your fork and headset. The built-in eyelets near the dropouts give you the option of mounting a front mudguard which, when not being used, is closed with flathead screws that disappear into the lines of the fork creating a seamless and elegant continuity.
